Site
license available to Primary or Secondary Schools and are perpetual licenses. If you are a
combined Primary and Secondary School and LanSchool is to be installed
within the entire organisation, then 2 site licenses are required, 1
for the Primary School and 1 for the Secondary School. If LanSchool is
to be installed in only the Secondary School of the combined
organisation, then 1 Site license is required only for the Secondary
School. Site licenses are determined by the number of student devices that have LanSchool installed on these devices, within the specified device count bands.
Student Owned Devices: A student can use their personal device along with the school owned device, if a license is purchased for a school owned device. That student owned device will automatically be licensed for LanSchool use & will be known as a Companion License. No separate license will have to be purchased for/by the student, for their personal device. Entire BYOD schools will be required to purchase 1 license per student owned device.
LanSchool captures student keystrokes with the eSafety feature. This can be turned off during installation.
